RepricerExpress reprices your products as soon as a price changes on your Amazon listing.
However, for some products, prices do not change very often (e.g. if you're the only seller or there are only a handful of sellers).
To avoid your products not being regularly checked, RepricerExpress runs a regular job which forces all SKUs to reprice. This works by changing your price by 1p/2p which allows us to force the repricing process to start.
When do these changes take place?
- For customers with less than 5,000 listings: whenever an item hasn't change price in the previous three hours.
- For customers with more than 5,000 listings: whenever an item hasn't change price in the previous 12 hours.
This way, you can be sure that all your SKUs are repricing even without price changes and this explains why sometimes your prices are up by 1p/2p on Amazon.
These pushes will help you in different scenarios, such as when you lose the Buy Box. Indeed, as you might or might not know Amazon doesn't let us know when you lose the Buy Box and you normally have to wait for a competitor price change for your product to start repricing again. With those pushes you won't have to wait too long for your products to win the Buy Box again.
If you do not want this daily repricing job applied to your account, you can request that this is either limited to once a day or turned off completely by contacting us through Live Chat or sending us an email.
