What are default rules?
For each marketplace in RepricerExpress, you will have a ‘Marketplace Default’ rule. This is a "catch all" rule and is effectively the rule used for your products unless you choose to assign a different rule to the product. The first rule you create will be your default rule unless you change it later on the 'Repricing Rules' screen. If you change your default rule from one rule to another then the products tied to the default rule will also be moved to the new default rule.
How do I edit/delete/copy rules?
If you are looking to edit, copy or delete a rule, simply go to the Repricing Rules screen to see a list of your rules. Hover over the right-hand side of the rule and extra options for 'Edit Rule', 'Copy Rule' and 'Delete Rule' will appear.
Please note: Once deleted a rule cannot be recovered so please ensure you only delete rules you will no longer require.
If my product is on Sale on Amazon, can RepricerExpress reprice it?
RepricerExpress has been designed to update your standard Amazon Price. If you are running a temporary sale on Amazon (Set a date for the sale to start, end and a Sale Price), then RepricerExpress wouldn't be able to price this for you. If you are having a temporary sale there are a few things you can do:
- Take your product off Sale. You can use RepricerExpress to drop your price in a 'Sale', you don't need to use this feature on Amazon.
- Set this product not to reprice. More details on how to do this here.
Why are my products at Min when I choose Next Best Seller?
When using the 'Next Best Seller' option for the scenario 'If competition is below your minimum', you will compete with the cheapest seller who is above your Minimum price.
Sometimes though there isn't another seller above your Min price and below your Max price. In that particular case, your SKU will go directly to Min, putting you in the best place to potentially secure the sale.
Please Note: If there is a Next Best Seller above your Max price and you would like to compete with him, you should simply increase your Max price.
Does expedited shipping affect my Repricing?
Expedited Shipping is an optional checkout option available when a seller is checking out your product on Amazon. This allows the seller to pay extra money for faster delivery. As this doesn't change the base price of your product this doesn't affect RepricerExpress or your prices on Amazon.
Does RepricerExpress support Amazon Shipping Bands?
RepricerExpress has been specially built to work with Amazon Shipping Rates and include these in your pricing, however, we do not support banded shipping. We would recommend using Fixed shipping or offering Free shipping for all your listings.
