What are default rules?
For each marketplace in RepricerExpress, you will have a ‘Marketplace Default’ rule. This is a "catch all" rule and is effectively the rule used for your products unless you choose to assign a different rule to the product. The first rule you create will be your default rule unless you change it later on the 'Repricing Rules' screen. If you change your default rule from one rule to another then the products tied to the default rule will also be moved to the new default rule.
How do I edit/delete/copy rules?
If you are looking to edit, copy or delete a rule, simply go to the Repricing Rules screen to see a list of your rules. Hover over the right-hand side of the rule and extra options for 'Edit Rule', 'Copy Rule' and 'Delete Rule' will appear.
Please note: Once deleted a rule cannot be recovered so please ensure you only delete rules you will no longer require.
What shipping price does RepricerExpress include in my price?
When Repricing your base shipping (your cheapest) is included in the price we upload to beat your competitors. This means that if a buyer wants a faster delivery time they can still buy the faster delivery type without this affecting your repricing. Below is an example,
Your Competitors price = £5 + £2.50 delivery
Your Delivery options are Free (2nd class), £2 (1st class), £5 (next day)
In this example if you set your rule to Beat your competitor by 1p, you would be priced at £4.99 with free delivery. The higher priced delivery options are optional to the customer.
Can I Price Against Only Top-rated sellers?
Yes, you can set RepricerExpress to price against Top-rated sellers only.
To have RepricerExpress do this for you will need to edit your pricing rule and under the 'Compete With' section tick the Compete with only 'Top-rated sellers'.
Which conditions will I price against?
RepricerExpress will price your products against the same type of condition to make sure we're comparing like with like. This means if you're selling a New product your price will only be compared with other New products. And Used products will only be compared with other Used products.
How can I update my barcode?
If you need to update your barcode or if you added the barcode after the product has been imported in Repricerexpress, we will give you the possibility to 'Recheck barcode' in the 'Repricing History' tab so after a few hours, the new barcode will be applied to the product:
