There are a number of different settings and strategies that you can use when using RepricerExpress and some of our customers have shared theirs with us. Don't forget that it may take some trial and error to tailor your settings to your exact needs.
One of your aims as an Amazon seller will be to try and win the Buy Box. Here's a quick reminder of how the Buy Box works.
FBA sellers
- You don't have to be the cheapest seller. It's important to know that, because you use FBA you don't need to be the lowest price to get a share of the Buy Box.
This is the strategy one Amazon seller uses for his FBA inventory—1.5% above the cheapest FBA seller. This blog posts explains this approach in more detail, but essentially it involves pricing 1.5% above the cheapest FBA seller whilst still getting your share of the Buy Box.

It avoids prices spiraling downwards as sellers continually adjust their prices to be the lowest, therefore should help you increase profits, as it will maximise the profit you receive for every item you sell.
- You also have the option to 'Only apply if there are no FBA sellers in the top 20', so you would then compete against the cheapest MFN seller if there is no FBA seller under the ASIN.

- Match the lowest seller for difficult to move stock. In instances where items have been in Amazon's warehouses for 2-3 months, rather than pricing above the competition, you could set to match the lowest seller to aggressively make more sales.

MFN and FBA sellers
This blog post explains this approach in more detail but essentially it involves pricing 1p + 2.68% below the cheapest seller, Beat by 0.01 Plus 2.68%.

Users’ experience of using this formula bears out what we’ve recommended as a company for over ten years—you should review and tweak your pricing rule settings to find the sweet spot for your inventory.
If you have a wide variety of stock that sells across a range of prices, then separate adjustments and rules may be required to reflect your selling price brackets.
