There might be certain situations where you would like your product to reprice directly at their Minimum or Maximum price, if you're using Automations and you're stuck in a very bad price war for example.
The general idea behind this strategy is to create a brand new rule so that you can’t compete with anybody and go to Min or Max directly. This is how you can achieve this:
1) Create a brand new Repricing Rule or edit an existing one.
2) You need scroll down into 'Advanced Settings' and to set up the scenario 'If there is no competition' to either 'Use Min' or 'Use Max', whatever you want to force your products to.
3) Then we normally recommend you add an inclusion by seller location such as Vatican City (as shown below).
Note: we choose 'Vatican City' as it's very very unlikely that any seller is based there, therefore there would be automatically no competition possible and you'll follow the scenario mentioned above.
3) Save your Repricing Rule and assign it to the products of your choice.
Any SKU assigned to this new Repricing Rule will then reprice automatically at their Minimum or Maximum price, depending on what you selected in the 'Scenarios' section. The SKUs will remain 'At Min' or 'At Max' until you either change the rule setting or assign a new rule, it won't reprice during that time.
